Besides the national fiesta´s, every town and village has it´s own day of celebration, with Ibiza Town´s splendid Queen of the Snows on the 8th August. The crystal clear waters, and the off shore breezes of varying strengths means Ibiza excels in the pleasure of the sea - wake boarding, kite boarding / surfing, diving, sailing, sea kayaks, windsurfing and some of the best sea fishing in the Med. If you prefer dry land for your sporting challenges then the new cycle routes throughout the island can provide you with both leisure and extreme cycling. The island hosts many sporting schools for the younger members of the family, including Rugby, Football, Athletics and Archery..
